Practical advice
- Always leave the ODO-10 plugged in your vehicle (car adaptor).
- If you take the ODO-10 out of your vehicle, be sure to turn it off by pressing the Activation button on the side.
- Place the ODO-10 in the open where cellular or GPS transmission will not be obstructed.
- Place your ODO-10 in an easily accessible place so you can readily press the option button – business or personal.
- Do not place the ODO-10 on the dashboard. If it is exposed to the sun for a prolonged period, the UV rays will seriously harm the product.
Regular conditions for use of your ODO-10
- The unit must always remain in the vehicle. If it is taken out, any movement such as walking or bicycling will falsify the information.
- The unit works within a temperature range of -20 to 60°Celsius.
- The unit works only within Canadian GSM zones.
- The unit can store information up to a maximum 2 hours in Tracker mode with GSM connection, after which the information is lost.
- The unit can store over 5000 km in Logger mode without having to be synchronized.
- Any trip made in a circular pattern within a 250 m radius will not be logged.
- Any trip lost due to failure of the unit or when the distance travelled is less than 5 km will be approximated linearly between the points of departure and arrival.
- Note that if it is not included in the above list, then it is not considered as a regular condition of use.
